BUSINESS AFTER HOURS
Want to welcome new faces into your business and create a warm, easygoing space to connect with fellow Chamber members? Hosting a Business After Hours is a great way to make a memorable impression!
These member-sponsored events are held outside of regular business hours and give you the chance to showcase your products, services, and space. Offer tours, door prizes, specials, and other fun touches—highlighting what makes your business unique in a relaxed, social setting.
Business After Hours take place at Chamber member locations on the second or fourth Tuesday of each month, January through November, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. Everyone’s welcome—just bring your business card and $2 for admission!
What to Expect
EVENT TIMELINE
4:30 PM – Networking, appetizers and beverages
5:20 PM – Introductions
5:30 PM – Host interview
5:50 PM – Drawing for door prizes (must be present to win!)
HOST RESPONSIBILITIES
Set Up for Success - Use an open layout with minimal seating to keep guests moving and networking.
Fuel the Fun - Offer appetizers and beverages. Must adhere to laws and ordinances regarding the service of adult beverages if provided. Please support a Chamber member caterer.
Make It Memorable - Set up a registration table near the entrance and offer fun door prizes (branded swag, gift cards, or local treats). The Chamber will coordinate volunteers to greet guests and emcee the event. The Chamber staff will take the lead on facilitating a small program, interview, and door prize selection.
Help Spread the Word - Attend a Chamber event before yours to invite members personally and build excitement for your event. The Chamber will advertise the event in the weekly e-newsletter and on social media.
